Abstract
This study aims to determine the variety of elliptical variations in the letters Al-Fatihah and juz 30. This study used a descriptive analysis method. The conclusions of this study include; The objectives of the ellipsis (al-Hażf) in the Qur'an are numerous: For Tafkhim (glorifying) and i'ẓām (glorifying), to add enjoyment in the mind to the discarded word or sentence (maḥżūf), to increase the reward for existing thought, because indirectly the presence of an ellipsis (al-Haż f) in the arrangement will lead one to think over a discarded word or sentence, to get a concise and concise expression, and to get a lot of meaning with little recitation, to give rise to courage in speaking. To be more memorable in memory. While the shape or type of ellipsis in sura Al-Fatihah and juz 30 consists of ellipsis (al-Haż f) of jar letter, athaf letter, alif letter, fi'il (verb), jar majrur, mudhaf, maf'ul (object), muqsam alaihi, jawab, mubtada.
